Oyler was born at Wynchbold, Worcestershire. She studied at Grimsby School of Art and Lecester College of Art under George Scott Ingles, John Pettinger and Sydney Robert Watson. Oyler taught a Harrogate School of Art, then at Chirst's Hopsital Girls High School. She exhibited at the R.A, B.B.S, R.I, S.W.A and Goupil Gallery. She lived in Lincoln
